Nex Move Global began in a Manchester yard in 1996 with two Luton vans and a simple promise: show up on time, handle everything with care, and give people their lives back. That promise still runs through everything we do.

Nex Move Global was founded in Manchester in 1996 by David and Carol Nex. Starting with two Luton vans and a focus on residential removals in Greater Manchester, the business grew steadily on the strength of its reputation — no advertising, just word of mouth from satisfied customers.
By 2007, demand for commercial and freight services led to the launch of our dedicated freight division. We added curtain-sider tractor units, employed a separate operations team and consolidated the operation at our Cartleach Lane depot in Manchester. That depot — extended three times since — remains our operational heart today.
In 2024 we operate a fleet of 60+ GPS-tracked Euro-6 vehicles, employ over 120 uniformed staff, and handle more than 10,000 jobs per year across removals, freight, storage and specialist logistics. We are still based in Manchester, still independently owned, and still running on the same promise David made in 1996.

1996
Founded in Manchester by David and Carol Nex with two Luton vans and a focus on local house removals.
2002
Achieved BAR membership. Moved into our permanent Manchester depot on Cartleach Lane.
2007
Launched our freight division, adding curtain-sider tractor units and a dedicated ops team.
2012
Gained FORS Silver accreditation. Expanded the fleet to 40+ vehicles.
2017
Opened a temperature-controlled freight wing and gained AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status.
2024
Operating a 60+ vehicle fleet, handling over 10,000 jobs per year across removals and freight.
